His work emphasizes flow control techniques, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), heat transfer enhancement, the design of heat exchangers, waste heat recovery, heat pumps, unsteady flows, bluff body aerodynamics/hydrodynamics, jet flows, and biomimetics. He integrates machine learning into his research to develop predictive flow simulators, enabling rapid and accurate analysis of complex flow behaviors. Additionally, his work on triboelectric nanogenerators involves the design of innovative nanomaterials to improve energy conversion efficiency. Dr. Okbaz has contributed to numerous scientific publications and projects, bridging academia and industry with innovative solutions for sustainable energy and fluid systems.
